New Blog

Hey all you bloggers out there,


          I have decided to make a new blog, this blog will be for personal post rather than my stories. I feel like I have many things to say to the world that those who are willing to hear (or rather read) should hear. So here is a little introduction into the life of me, Heather. I am an atypical 21 year old, while most of my peers are out partying and drinking (living in a college town that is very normal) I spend my time drawing and writing. I don't see the joy in spending your entire night out just to not remember it in the morning. Isn't life for making memories? Then why not do things you will remember? Now I am not a total shut in, I do have a life. I have a boyfriend who I have been seeing for over 4yrs now, I have awesome roommates that make me laugh to no end, and I love spending part of my days helping out with the youth group at my church. Now some of you may have just hit the snooze button while reading that last sentence that is totally fine, I get my life isn't all that exciting but to me it is. Helping out, serving, at my church with the youth group is something that brings me complete and total joy. To be able reach out to today's generation and tell them it is ok to be different than what society says to be is something I love to do. I love being able to surround myself with people who love God and live their lives in a way that is glorifying to him.
       On a different note I am also I complete and total nerd, I love all things sci fi and fantasy (except Star Trek, sorry). I am a huge Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter Fan. I love to read and watch those genres. I am constantly inspired by movies and books in my own writing. If you haven't checked out some of my other blogs I have some stories I have written on them, I do believe some aren't finished sorry. As most nerd I am also into video games, I love playing all kind of games except shooters and that is purely because I am terrible at them.  I'm also into art, if I wasn't a computer science major I would have probably gone into some form of art. However I sometimes am not as motivated to make art as I am to write or serve or be on the computer. If I had to pick a major in art it would be printmaking, I love it!
