Hey all,
It has been a while since my last post, I got a new job (I don't remember if I said that in the last post) and the hours are all over the place so there is no good time to post. Well I am making a goal for myself to get back to the healthy weight I was at a few years ago, being 6 foot my healthy weight isn't actually that low. I am going to be doing a weight in/size in every month on the 8th of the month to check my progress. Wish me luck!

I Moved!
Little life update for you, I have moved! I moved into my boyfriend's parent's basement. They have a furnished room done here that I am now staying in. I am still in the process of unpacking. I am very excited for this next chapter in my life. I loved living with my roommates but it will be nice to live with his family for a change of pace. The only downside is that my allergies are acting up a tiny bit but they should go away in a week or so of living here. Why are my allergies acting up? Well they have 3 cats and 2 dogs, which I love! I am also switching phone providers, I have been burned too many times by virgin mobile so I am switching to sprint! Well that is all the updates I have for right now.

Roommate Is Now A Married Woman!
Big life update! My roommate got married yesterday! I was one of her bridesmaids and it was the most amazing experiences! I am so blessed to have this godly couple in my life, and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for them. On a separate note I caught the bouquet!

When I Grow Up...
When I grow up I want to be....
Oh wait I am 21 I think I am a little late on that thought. In all seriousness I honestly never could pick what I wanted to be when I was little. Here is a list in the order of what came first in what I wanted to be. First three or four are when I was a kid.
1. Singer
2. Movie Actress
3. Mom
4. Artist
5. Math Teacher
6. Writer
7. Music Producer
8. Business Information Systems person ha
9. Computer Geek
With the computer geek I am thinking more on the lines of computer programmer, web designer, and game designer (the dream). I feel like every year I still want to be something new. I know at some point I want to get back to my theater roots and preform again but that will be when the time is right. I want to explore different art fields as well, maybe try some life casting. This was also very much an impulse post, I am very hyper (no clue why) and not very tired, though if you asked at 6am this morning before work I would have told you I was dying. Anyways that was my random post, it is almost midnight I will post more later!

Doubts
I have come to realize that no matter how secure you feel in something you will always have doubts even if it is for a brief moment of time. As humans we doubt sometimes if our existence has any meaning or if we will ever do what it is that we are to do in our time here. Life is a fragile thing it is here one day and gone the next, and if we live our lives with doubts then how are we to enjoy the time we have here. I think personally I tend to doubt the good things in my life sometimes, the how on earth could something this good happen to me. Or we think that eventually it will end as all things in this life do... that nothing good can last in this life with all of the horrors in the world around us. I think sometimes we even want the good things to end, setting traps for ourselves to fall into. We start thinking about how life could be different or if I just had this one thing instead of this thing I will be happy. I believe doubts are connected to trying to be satisfied, with all of these doubts we can never be satisfied. Granted we can never be completely satisfied with the things this world has to offer, it is not our home. In this life there will always be that one thing that "Oh if I just had ____, then I would be satisfied. I would never ask for anything again." until we find something new to fill the void with. This life is short and if we are constantly filling it with earthly possessions and passions and never being satisfied by them then how are we not to have doubts.
So how can we be satisfied? Only by God can we be completely satisfied. Now am I saying that things in this world are evil, not worth your time? No, I am merely saying that if God isn't at the center of life, if he isn't what you are filling that hole in your life with you will always be thirsty for more. There is no end to God, there is no being thirsty with him. We will always have doubts with everything, with your job, marriage, relationships, home, and even with your family but one thing you never have to have doubts about is God. If you are still feeling anxious about anything, read Matthew 6:33-34.
So how can we be satisfied? Only by God can we be completely satisfied. Now am I saying that things in this world are evil, not worth your time? No, I am merely saying that if God isn't at the center of life, if he isn't what you are filling that hole in your life with you will always be thirsty for more. New Blog
Hey all you bloggers out there,
I have decided to make a new blog, this blog will be for personal post rather than my stories. I feel like I have many things to say to the world that those who are willing to hear (or rather read) should hear. So here is a little introduction into the life of me, Heather. I am an atypical 21 year old, while most of my peers are out partying and drinking (living in a college town that is very normal) I spend my time drawing and writing. I don't see the joy in spending your entire night out just to not remember it in the morning. Isn't life for making memories? Then why not do things you will remember? Now I am not a total shut in, I do have a life. I have a boyfriend who I have been seeing for over 4yrs now, I have awesome roommates that make me laugh to no end, and I love spending part of my days helping out with the youth group at my church. Now some of you may have just hit the snooze button while reading that last sentence that is totally fine, I get my life isn't all that exciting but to me it is. Helping out, serving, at my church with the youth group is something that brings me complete and total joy. To be able reach out to today's generation and tell them it is ok to be different than what society says to be is something I love to do. I love being able to surround myself with people who love God and live their lives in a way that is glorifying to him.
On a different note I am also I complete and total nerd, I love all things sci fi and fantasy (except Star Trek, sorry). I am a huge Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter Fan. I love to read and watch those genres. I am constantly inspired by movies and books in my own writing. If you haven't checked out some of my other blogs I have some stories I have written on them, I do believe some aren't finished sorry. As most nerd I am also into video games, I love playing all kind of games except shooters and that is purely because I am terrible at them. I'm also into art, if I wasn't a computer science major I would have probably gone into some form of art. However I sometimes am not as motivated to make art as I am to write or serve or be on the computer. If I had to pick a major in art it would be printmaking, I love it!
